Altar Ego is a community playground for transforming your stickiest shadows into the beautiful gifts they are meant to be.

Let’s be real, no one LIKES the idea that they have Shadows. It can be downright terrifying to embark on the journey to bring these parts to light when we haven’t done it before and and oftentimes, it can feel like we have to figure it out alone.

But WHO says that we have to?

In all mythic tales, the hero(ine) is supported by others in their quest to face their monsters and darkness to uncover the treasure that is 100% worth fighting for.

The most inspiring mythic journeys reveal how to transmute darkness into light and renew our faith in the process of becoming who we are meant to be.

Join us for a delightful, immersive exploration of your psyche so that you may expand your awareness of your inner-self and reclaim necessary parts of yourself for your own mythic journey.

• Use writing, movement and imagination as tools to access the wisdom of your subconscious.

About Katelyn Colia

Katelyn’s life’s work is to learn how to uncover, release stuck life force energy & access true soul expression. She believes the shadow is equal to the light & that discovering how to play well with one’s psyche is the greatest work that can be done. She does this by guiding her clients into their bodies to rewrite limiting beliefs & stories at a cellular level through somatic awareness, energy work and spiritual embodiment. She believes that each person has a vast amount of power & potential and when given the right tools & support, the process of uncovering who they are can be immensely freeing, joyful & pleasurable.

Katelyn is certified in Transformational Coaching, Somatic Embodiment and Self-Regulation Strategies and is a legally ordained Priestess in the Temple of Isis, an Interfaith Church dedicated to the Divine Mother. She has studied with Master Movement Director Anandha Ray and is empowered to teach the Quimera Method dance techniques that support the integration of body & mind. She has also extensively studied a wide range of spiritual philosophies, depth psychology, energy work, emotional release, dance, and ritual art.
