Practitioner Bio: Shanna Miller Shanna is a high school Social Science teacher, most recently focusing on a personal development Psychology class that aims to help teenagers build a healthy foundation of coping mechanisms that involve mindfulness, gratitude, exercise, nutrition, and Positive Psychology practices. Teaching yoga has been a passion and purpose amidst the crippling levels of anxiety and depression we see in youth today. Shanna has been practicing yoga for over a decade, and now incorporates it within high school and for the larger community. Bringing the practice of yoga and meditation within the community space allows us to connect more authentically with ourselves and the world around us.
